I believe that the HC11E1 is no longer manufactured. Is this for an
existing design? There are companies that specialise in supplying old
stock such as this, but most of them cannot guarantee regular delivery
schedules, and most of them are incredibly expensive. You would probably
be much better off doing a re-design around a more modern part. I now
use the Ti MSP430 family where a few years ago I would have used a
HC11. The MSP430F169 includes a dual DAC on board, and costs half the
price a HC11 would, even when they were still fresh.
