Matlab data types in AMS-Designer

Is there any consideration about the data type shall be used in Matlab
co-simulations with AMS? Continuous signals? Discrete signals? If so,
which sample rate? Thanks in advance.

Best thing here is to read the manual.

Using a recent version of IUS which supports AMS (e.g. IUS611 or IUS81, for
example), start "cdnshelp", and search for "simulink". Note that you cosimulate
with simulink (rather than vanilla Matlab).

There's a chapter in the Virtuoso AMS Designer Simulator User Guide (Chapter 14
in the version I checked) called "Cosimulation with Simulink and AMS Designer" -
and a section within that on Coupler Modules which describes the data types and
how synchronization is done, what sampling is done and so on.

Regards,

Andrew.
