Hi,
I have been looking for a circuit design for driving a transducer such as
the ones found in fish finders. I have a 200khz transducer.
I have read somewhere that these are piezo based and are a "capacitive"
load. What would be the precautions I should use? I am assuming this means
it would not handle dc well and the driver output would have to match this
somehow.
Any thoughts, circuits or links would be great.
BTW: I searched google and got some references to an obsolete chip: LM1812
but oly with skimpy details and nothing newer or more in depth.
