Hi,

For a particular transistor PCELL (say MOS1) used in Schematic, layout
view does not exist.

But in Layout XL (IC 5.10.41), When I do Gen, From Source, against
this PCELL, I want to get another PCELL (say MOS2) for which layout
exist.

Can you please tell me how this can be done?

Thanks & Regards,

Hi,

there is a property called "lxUseCell" which you can add to the
the instance in the schematic (or to the master cell if you have write
access). You can use that to point to a different library
and/or cellname. This works for IC5.
If you are on IC6 you should use the CPH (Configure Physical
Hierarchy) tool. Or if this is something you always need to set for
that cell, look into LAM file creation.

Hi Marc,

Thanks. lxUseCell Option Worked.
