Volunteer org. is having city building dept. approve design for
post-and-panel sign to be placed on the lawn. Need to decide appropriate
lighting for sign and electrical required to power such.
Existing, unused (non-functional) fountain is nearby, and I'm thinking of
using buried fountain-lighting circuit for sign lights also.
I presume buried approved waterproof conduit is required. Are light fixtures
best mounted on a poured concrete foundation? Is there a common-type box
configuration for such ground-level sign lighting?
These light fixtures don't need to be subterranean; just the supply needs to
be buried, of course.
Thanks,
