Does anyone know were I can get a good deal on those magnetic contacts for
alarm systems I need about 20. Radio Shack has them but they want $7 each
that's too much

Thanks

They sometimes show up in the surplus market , check the ads in the back of
electronics magazines for free catalogs . If you find some , they are bound
to be significantly cheaper than the $-hack

Get some magnetic reed switches and do your own. I've bought reed
switches for $0.75 each.

Why the hell are they listing magnetic reed switches under clocks,
novelty, when they should be listed under electronics components.

Don't be ripped off by the big book dealers. Go to the URL
that will give you a choice and save you money(up to half).
