Where is a place on the web that sells magnet wire by the pound or by 5
pound spools.
All I could find were 4 oz rolls. Thanks.

Why order on line. Every town has a shop that rewinds motors. Most of them
will sell you copper magnet wire by the pound.

My local shop gives me what I need for free.
I use it to wind supressor coils for motors so
I hardly need more than a few feet at a time.

thanks. I need some to re-wire a secondary of a power transformer.
Needs about 14 guage or 12 guage. Using old microwave transformers to build
good power sources for car battery chargers etc. (Yes I cut out the old hv
secondary :) ).
Also experimenting with metal detector designs.
