LXI Projection Television HELP!!!

I'm looking for parts/advice for a LXI Projection 42" Television (made
by Magnavox, I believe). Sears Model # 626.54451750.

The other day, I turned the set on and there is no picture, only
sound. The sound still works fine and channels change, etc., but no
picture.

Leading up to this problem, the picture had begun to shake
periodically. Also, the red had begun to move up and down. I believe
my convergence board has some problems because some of the adjustments
wouldn't do anything when setting the convergence. I'm thinking of
replacing that board.

However, I'm wondering if the problem I'm experiencing now is most
likely due SOLELY to the convergence board or if it is likely due to
some else.

If anyone could offer advice or know where I could get parts for this
set, I would GREATLY appreciate it!

Probably solder joints on the convergence board have caused a lack of
vertical deflection which is shutting down the set. Servicing the board will
likely fix it, though it's entirely possible that you've done further damage
to the unit by continuing to use it with a known fault. It's possible to
destroy all three tubes if the deflection fails and doesn't shut down
quickly enough.

In the back there is a PTV3XX number.

PTV375 & up should be going into "no HV" shutdown IIRC, so it's probably
pre-PTV340. In this case it's likely that some soldering needs to be done on
the power board, and you might as well do the sweep board as well.

There may be some bad resistors too, high ohmage, like 360K and 330K I think.

Also need to check the flyback, they're very hard to get.

There was a sticker on one of the boards that had PTV300. What would
I need to do to test the flyback to see if that is the problem? Any
other ideas?
