Any suggestions for a bidirectional motor controller ic - 3 volt dc motors,
up to 200ma or so? Thanks!

You'll need a split rail supply, or to put an op-amp on each motor terminal
and drive them inversely so one sources when the other one sinks.

The L293D is a TTL H-bridge which will just about work with 3 volts.
