You might flag your Subject line with the word SPAM in caps.

Legitimate businessmen know that advertising is a cost of business
--just like rent and electricity.
You might include THAT information in your post.
Those that don't know this, don't deserve your patronage.

Most spammers are low-lifes
who just leave their droppings and move on
They don't deserve access to the places they spam.

Ok, I generally don't post often in these types of newsgroups and so I

certainly agree that reposting the spam was a complete waste of bandwidth.
I will accept 50 lashes from an appropriately clad young lady.

However, I never have understood the top-posting disdain. I can
understand this if it was meant to be a long discussion with many posts,
but for short term, single reply items, I think it is better. Of
course, determining in advance what is short term (or single reply) IS
rather difficult! If I could predict that, I would go out and buy a
lottery ticket.

The disdain comes when folks

don't trim out the bits that don't apply in any way to the response.
This usually goes hand-in-glove with top-posting.
An extreme example is
a 1-word response followed by a 60-line blockquote.

I can understand this if it was meant to be
a long discussion with many posts,
but for short term, single reply items, I think [top-posting] is better.
Of course, determining in advance what is short term
(or single reply) IS rather difficult!

High marks on your understanding of the ancillary points.
The baffling part is that
your logic doesn't allow you to then loop back to the starting point.
