Hello all

I am looking for a source for an unusual 9 pin mini DIN PCB mounting
socket. See diagram.

We had some 8-way in the workshop, but RS Comp's have the 9-way - Cat No
232-8899.

We had some 8-way in the workshop, but RS Comp's have the 9-way - Cat No
232-8899.
Thanks for your reply, but the ones I am after are different from the more
standard one listed in RS. There is a flat rather than a notch on the top
of the socket, my diagram should make it clearer what I am after. They
were used by Acorn Computers of Cambridge England as mouse connectors.

OK, I didn't look too closely at the drg as I assumed that a 9-pin mini-din was
the same wherever, but you live and learn... :))

Which Acorn machine are we talking about? It's not a beeb obviously...

They were used on most of the later ARM/RISC OS machines they produced.
The Archimedes range the RiscPC etc
