This is a 100 A 5 V supply with a terminal strip labeled: RC, ML, RS-,V-,V+,
RS+, MH. RC is remote control on/off; RS+ and RS- are conventional remote
sensing. What are ML and MH? ML measures near 0 VDC, MH around +4.2 VDC.
I am attempting to convert this supply to an adjustable constant current
driver for really high power laser diodes. I don't want to modify the
supply, just use external circuitry. I can do this with a feedback loop
from a current sense resistor to RS+ via an op-amp but was wondering if
there is a better way to do it that might already be documented.
Thanks for any info.
