Looking for in-line RCA/Phono style line to microphone level

I am looking for a simple RCA/Phono styles in line attenuator to drop
a line level audio signal to microphone level.

I am sure a nice little metal barreled device with a male and female
connector at each end must exist but I just can't find one anywhere.

(I know I could build one with a couple of resistors btw!))

My brain wants to say that Radio Shack has a bunch of those kinds of
adapters...

You can also install a 100k in series, and a 1k in parallel with the
center conductor, all inside of a regular RCA plug. It's also easy
enough to do it on the outside, covered with a few pieces of heatshrink
tubing.
