sell, please let me know - cc by e-mail.

Thanks!

I have a sum total of 1 if you're desperate, but I guess 1 probably isnt
enough.

Where have you tried to get them? Dontronics website still has them in the
price list (maybe Don will read this & give an update) for $12AU. Polykom
still has the 8515 8PC DIP on there price list...although none in stock and
a lead time of 52 weeks, maybe thats their way of saying N.L.A.

I guess if all else fails its not that difficult to just use a different
member of the AVR family, one of the Mega variety perhaps.

Regards
James

Yeah I know I'm replying to my own post...but....

Have a read of this.....

http://www.atmel.com/dyn/resources/prod_documents/doc2519.pdf

details of differences between the 8515 & the ATMega8515, migration should
be easy.

I've only tried Polykom and Memec, which stocks neither the 90S
or mega versions of the 8515. I didn't think of Dontronics - thanks,
and sorry, Don :)

Yes, I've had a look, thanks. I'm hoping to get a couple to try the
compatibility mode soon.

The ATMEGA 162 is a superset of the 161 and is in production.

mega8515 is a drop in replacement also, and minor code changes are
documented on the atmel site.
we have 8515, mega8515, and mega162.
