If Madhury has 8yrs exp in the US he may well be a US citizen or was
already.

But anyone who is multinational has an advantage to choose between
where the action was (US) and where the action is clearly moving too
if its in their country of origin. I hear many Taiwanese EEs have been
heading back to Taiwan and on to China to be the new leaders of the
new companies. Luckily for Asians it seems that homecomers are
welcome. Not so for Europeans.

There is ofcourse hotjobs, monster, carreerbuilder but after a few
days of responses, one can expect nada. It still seems that for every
job posted, there will be hundreds of applicants. i really don't know
why companies post there in the 1st place, its more of a big tease.

Some EEs will choose to work on their house during this time. I chose
to work on a startup and create some IP. It may work or may not. God
forbid though if 100k other bits of IP get developed. Anyway it keeps
me working on what I most enjoy doing, if that doesn't get some
company interested, I am outa here for good.

Unemployed in San Diego,

What is the intent of your statement?

I do not like the fact that many of our high tech jobs are moving over
seas but there is no need to release your anger. It is part of
business and competition. Every single one of us has to live with it.

There are plenty of jobs in San Diego from what I've gathered from
various job websites.

With Regards,
Henry
