Hello all,
I'll looking for a solution to convert 24vac to 12vdc, max current is
around 200ma.

Thanks
Bob

Half wave rectifier using 1 diode and one filter Capacitor and a load
resister to trim the output voltage, anything else is just gilding the lily
ie 3 terminal regulators, Zenner diodes, full wave and bridge rectifiers,
transformers, Variacs ! Usually I am trying to get 24V dc from a 12Vac line
not as simple!

Bridge rectifier or diode, reservoir capacitor, Resistor, zener.
Transformer, rectifier, reservoir capacitor.
Switched mode supply.
Oscillator, Capacitor divider.
Might be other options depending on your app.
