i know the lithium batterys pop if overcharged but all the plans i've seen
have curr/temp/volt/time feedback loops and emergancy trips on them. what
is the minimal setup if i trickle charge and don't care how long it takes?
are they realy that sensitive?

Lithium batteries can explode and start fires if improperly charged. That is
why they have so many safety features.
Why not just breakdown and buy a charger instead of risky a serious problem.
