can any one tell me various types of hardware descriptive
languages...and also the revolutionary changes in them.....i need them

I never got round to reading them myself, but you could try reading
the two articles entitled "Three Decades of HDLs" published in "IEEE
DESIGN & TEST OF COMPUTERS" in 1992.
