LightRadio signals the end of mobile industry’s masts and base stations.

The technology said to replace the base station, typically located at the base of each cell site tower. LightRadio is
broken into its components elements and then distributed into both the antenna and throughout a cloud-like network,
according to the company.

It also shrinks today’s clutter of antennas serving 2G, 3G, and LTE systems into a single antenna that can be mounted on
poles, sides of buildings or anywhere else there is power and a broadband connection.

Like hell it does. Masts are only used where there is nothing to put the antenna etc.

The bases are just miniturised compared with what they currently are.

Well river height is probably the best metric by which to compare
floods. If you can suggest a better one please do.

He's not that far off either.

LightRadio spells the end of towers, like the cloud was touted to spell
the end of hard drives.

It's all bullshit.
