Lightning/TV color off

Last night, the color on my Samsung TXE1970 was really off after a
nearby lightning strike. After having the set off for a couple of
hours, it was back to normal. I have read the other posts on
degaussing. What I would like to know is: will this cause more
problems with this set in the future; or was it a one-time, degaussing
makes it good-as-new(or, as good as it was before the strike) event?
Thanks for any input.

Probably no further problems.

Degaussing is just another word for demagnetizing, the lightning strike
generated a powerful magnetic field and magnetized the shadow mask in the
picture tube. The set's built in degaussing coil demagnetized it so the
picture is normal, that won't give you any further problems.
