Light sensitive alarm

I'm hoping someone can suggest a simple circuit with a piezo buzzer that
sounds off when light hits it- seems someone likes stealing wall clocks from
by establishment.
Any suggestions are appreciated

Cracker mechanism?
Why?
The simple way would be just to use a microswitch.
It's held closed by the clock, and when the clock is
removed, an alarm goes off.
Hmm, maybe you could use a bag-snatch alarm.
The compressed gas powered ones are quite loud.
