License Usage Log

Hi,

Our network supports several cadence licenses (schematic entry/
simulation/ layout, etc.) and we would like to know what the usage
(as a function of time) of these licenses has been.

Is there a license manager command that can easily provide this
information? If not, is anyone aware of other techniques to obtain
this information ?

thanks

The script that starts the license manager will probably be configured
to pipe the log output to a file. This will be something like
/usr/tmp/license.log. The file contains all of the check out/in license
transactions as well as a time stamp and user@host so provides
everything you need - you just need to process it.

Hope this is of some help.
