License erro in OCEAN

I'm trying to run a OCEAN example simulation from $CDS_HOME/tools/dfII/
samples/artist/OCEAN/. In fact, the sample directory is called
monteCarlo. My license is from universitary program and we have just
ADE_GXL in it. When I run the "ocean < diffampl.ocn" command, I see
the following error:

*Error* None of the Stats license ("Analog_Design_Environment_XL"
"Analog_Design_Environment_GXL") could be re-checked.


I tried to set the XL mode in the .ocn file through "ocnSetXLMode()",
but it didn't work. I tried to delete my .cdsenv files in my home and
in the project directory, and the error persists.

Does somebody have some idea?

Hi Taimur,

My guess is :

1. You don't have a license for Monte carlo statistical analysis
2. Or: A problem with ocean getting these licenses. Could you run the
same simulation from ADE to see if it runs ?
3. Or: A bug ? what is your cadence version ? icfb -V or icfb -W from
unix. It is always useful to append your cadence/spectre versions for
this kind of problems.
