Morning all,
My local Library now lets you borrow DVDs.
They stick a lable of quite a large size on the DVD.
It cause my DVD to make quite a rude noise last night as it was
striking the damper! So as soon as I could getthe DVD out.
I ripped the label off.
Should I tell them that putting labels on DVD should be avoided?

Regards,
Mitch

No, I don't think you should.

Supposing you upset them...?

He's already incurred the wrath of the librarian - he pulled their sticker
off!!!

My God, do you know how many resources go into putting those stickers on???

He'll be lucky if he isn't bannished to the reference section for life!!!!

;-)

I've got the same problem.I think that the clear plastic film that they use
is not suitable due to the heat inside computers.
The one I have is buckled to the point that the imbalance could cause
harm to the drive in my laptop.

Mathew

Librarians are dangerous feral animals. Do not antagonise !

1. They never read books, just store and fix them. Actually, librarians
hate books.

2. Their job is to keep customers from enjoying the materials on loan..
Hence they put stickers across book titles so you can't tell what the book
is about. Out of balance DVD stickers sounds like a librarian.
