LED Sound Organ ? ?

I'm looking to make a led sound organ to go with music, so I can arange
the led's in a pattern of words or a picture, if anyone knows of some
directions on how to do this, that would be wonderfull.....

Try "light organ" or "colour organ" as well.

How many LEDs do you want to light up and what do you want to trigger them?
A simple color organ is one thing but an advanced MIDI system is quite
another. What is your plan?
