LED moving display

I am an undergrad student and i want to know how to make a led
scrolling displayt using ATmega8 microcontroller. Can anyone help me????

Probably not with a question like that. The sarcastic answer is, well, get
some LEDs and some drivers and decoders, work out an addressing
arrangement so that you can address them all from the uC's outputs, and
write some software.

display on 1 row of led's? how many led's?
