I have a 2) 0.8" 7-segment Led displays and 2) black jumbo pushbutton
switches I want to have a score board so that when i push the button
the display will say one and when i push it again it will say 2 and so
on and so on till 9 then when i push it again it will saw 0 but that
is all i have and i know i need other stuff to make this work and i
wanna be able to use 120 volt power so i know i need to have a power
converter but what size?? is there some web site that i can go to that
will help me make what i wanna make?? please ask questions and i will
try to answear them to the best of my knowledge.

I'll help you.

Are they common-anode or common-cathode displays, and what kind of
switches are they? (SPST, SPDT, DPDT, ???)

A common linear regulator will be able to provide more than enough
current to run your counters. I would use a plug pack that converts
the 120VAC to something in the 7 to 12 volt range. AC output is fine
since this means the plug pack is only a transformer. You will need
four rectifiers and a couple of capacitors in addition to the LM7805
regulator. A heat sink to mount the regulator on will also be needed
as it will tend to get hot.

You can scavenge most of these items from a broken computer power
supply. The goal here is to build a 5 volt power supply to run the
counters.

Do you have soldering equipment and a multimeter?
 
The specs for the led display i have are on this page
http://www.allelectronics.com/spec/SDA-801.pdf and yeah i have a
multimeter and i have good soder guns and everything but all i need is
to learn how to make a led display that counts can somone please make
a list of what i all need so i can just print it out and get
everything i need then i can get the steps on how to build it after
but any other questions or??

Probably not the whole thing, for free. It's a whole construction
project, and for a beginner, a major one.

Your best course of action would be to surf the web for electronics
tutorials, construction articles, and whatever you can find, and also
go to the public library and see what they have about electronics.
The ARRL Handbook and The Art of Electronics are a couple of good
books for this.

As someone who is good at following directions but limited in

electronics knowledge (not just electronics) I have found using
googling for "circuits" brings up many sites with links to many other
sites that have all sorts schematics that a beginner can follow. And
counter circuits were for sure in there. In fact the following link
may work for you. Read about it. The guy who put up the web site is a
nice guy. Anyway, here it is:

counter and display, try 2".
