Not quite finished yet, but I've gotten some stuff working on the LED
project I posted about in May. http://home.comcast.net/~hyc_sub1/lwasher/
I'm using a Color Kinetics "Sauce" LightWasher to control the Luxeons. I tap
off the LightWasher's LEDs into a set of transistors, scaled to produce
0-350mA for the Luxeons. This part seems to be working very well with my 12V
1A power supply. I still haven't got the manual control with the sliders
working very well though.
The 6-conductor modular jacks have turned out to be extremely convenient for
daisy-chaining. I suppose I could find a 24V supply if I want to move up to
six clusters from the three I'm currently driving.
