Everybody chooses what is important to them. Some like snazzy videos,
some like to ship product to customers...

Well, then Lattice is doing both. Their policy on new part
announcement is
to wait until they have at least _some_ silicon available. Xilinx is
already
announcing Virtex 8 while not shipping V7.

Really? Could not find a trace of said announcement.

while not shipping V7.
And neither cheap and large quantities of S6 (maybe until recently).

Must have been dreaming. Probably got confused with 28 nm Virtex 7 HT
announcement...

Although it seems someone was talking about 22 nm...

I recall Altera did have some odd promo material bundled in with their
Cubic Cyclonium. A bike race around the inside of their office maybe?
Anyhow I guess it probably pre-dates YouTube by a few years.

It seems you can buy at least samples of the LCMXO2-1200 in their online
store.

Being out of stock and not shipping are two different things. Anyone
know if they have actually been sold in the store yet? Does the store
list a lead time?

Rick

not sure about being sold in the online store, i think not.
but we got almost firm confirmation of our samples being allocated :)
