Hie all,

I have this awesome CD-player which has run flawlessly for more than 4
years.
1) I was reading its manual and they recommended that I do not place
it close to a TV. Why is this?
2) Also how do I go about cleaning the CD player lens; is it advisable
to use the off-the-shelf CD lens-cleaner kits?

Thanks...

Probably cause that awesome boom box has large speaker magnets that will do
a number on the TV screen and could leave the picture distorted or with a
color problem.

I've successfully removed the cover and used 99% isopropyl alcohol on a lint
free cloth before. Good luck Bob.

Thanks. How far apart should the boom box and TV be - 6 inches, 1
foot?

How can I tell when I should attempt to clean the lens? Is there a
standard time frame or should I only clean when I detect a sound
degradation?
