Has anyone tried Voicepulse or Vonage and how is the audio of the phone
connections?

Everybody is getting into it.

I have Vonage. They are ready for prime time. You can use them as your
only phone. However, if you don't have a reliable cable and power get
a cell phone backup.

I checked 8x8, Inc. Much less expensive, but not as a prime phone
line. No 911, reliability ??.

If you have DSL then go for 8x8 because you will need to keep your
land line for the DSL.

If you have cable go for Vonage and get rid of your land line.

Time Warner will have a connection next year according to a tech I
talked with.

Have you heard anything about Voicepulse. They have much cheaper plans and
have gotten some good press lately.

By the way, does Vonage charge taxes, and FCC line and regulatory fees?
