Hi,
I have a JBL subwoofer modeled PSW-D110 and the fuse is blown. if
I replace the fuse, it hums. There are several components seem blown.
One of the cap is blown, can't read the value of the cap(C24). Does
anyone know the value of the cap. Does anyone have the schematic for
this sub? please send it to me if you have it. I read it on the
forum that it could be the s53ami causing this problem. Can some
confirm this, because I don't want to spend the money to buy the part
if this is not the problem. Your help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks. please also send me the schematic for the s531mi component if
you have it.

In addition to the amp modules - the main filter caps often open up on
these, and the smaller cap you mentioned is a 10uF at 50V bipolar capacitor.
JBL says these need to be upgraded to 100V. Sometimes resoldering the module
fixes these.

Which is the filtering capacitor? Do you have the schematic for this sub?
