Is there any oceanscript editor?

Guest
Hi,

I always use nedit to edit the oceanscripts. Now, I wonder if there is
any better editor or maybe just a language set for nedit that
highlights the script better, checking for missing parenthesis, etc.

Does anyone know this?
Thanks

Go to www.nedit.org and download the skill plugin. When you
associate .ocn and .il to the skill language mode, you will have the
parenthesis matching by highlight. You find it by searching for skill
in the web page search box. There may be some modifications needed,
they can be found by searching for nedit on this group on
groups.google.com. You can also find on this group how to create a
tooltip file for the Cadence skill functions from the help text that
you would normally find in the cadence finder in the skill toolbox.
Nedit is one of the better editors to use for ocean editing, and if
you have no other preferences, then there is actually no need to
switch IMHO.

'gvim' or 'vim' also highlight syntax and parenthesis in colors with .il
files.
