Is the NZ practicing licensee a rip off?
It costs about $80 or so and there are about 50 people in the class for 4
hours,
Man that is some huge rental on the cost of a hall.

Your concern seems to be with value for money for the refresher
course, rather than the license itself.

If you have concerns about the course provider I suggest you get in
touch with the EWRB.
To give you a comparison, next month I am booked to do the course at
Wellington Institute of Technology. $80 for 8 hours (includes the CPR
and first aid component). On past experience, the classes generally
have a max of approx 20 people.

nz.tech may be a more useful ng for this topic.
