Guest
Hai everybody,
I want to shrink the layout by 10% . Is it possible .
I am trying like , flattening layout -- getting shapes -- modifying
bBox by shrinking 10% using skill commands.
Is the way that I am going is Rightway or , should I
need to read any other pdf's like Diva manuals, or any other.

Help me,
Thanks in Advance.

You may want to look at 'scale' or 'XScale' utility shipped with IC ; it does precisely that.

Note that you may have rounding problems when scaling down, so you should really check the results
carefully.

Cheers,
Stéphane

For more complex cases Cadence has a tool called "Virtuoso Layout Migrate" which
can handle pcell migration too - if you're porting from one technology to
another and have to map pcells too.

Andrew.

Is this question related to the rest of the question?

You can find them all in:

<ICinstDir>/tools/dfII/etc/tools/*/.cdsenv

Also there's a file at:

<ICinstDir>/tools/dfII/samples/.cdsenv

which lists them all.

Regards,

Andrew.
