I am looking for an InfraRed receiver that will convert TV/SAT/AMP/DVD/CD
remote control handsets to RS232 to allow me to connect to a PC. I then
need an RS232 to IR transmitter to then retransmit those signals to
the intended device. The transmitter and receiver my be in different
locations.

I believe I have found a product that will do the job at:
http://www.innotechsystems.com/sp1002.htm
http://www.innotechsystems.com/spitfire6001.htm

Before I go and order these I would like to know if anyone in Australia
is making what I want.

Note: I do not want a kit. I want a completed product that is ready to go.

Hi,

You can buy a pair of learning remotes with serial interface. The only
problem is price. Last time I looked, they were few hundred dollars each.
