My name is Emmanuel Offei Bekoe, a web programmer, network engineer
and the founder of Versatech Web Solutions , a web development company
based here in Ghana, west Africa.
The need for internet connectivity has grown out of hand in my part of
this global village creating a profitable and successful market for a
WISP.
This unbearable problem has prevented potential customer access to the
international world and likewise prevented the developed and advanced
worlds from reaching our developing countries for business
opportunities, research, information and investment especially in
Africa, Ghana.
To this effect, the global plan for a global village will not be
achived if this regions are left out.
I am hereby using this opportunity to request that you use your
esteemed office to assist me solve this problem which will bring
internet connections to the door steps of my people through the
introduction of an WISP.
My market research proved that should an WISP be establised here in
Ghana, there will be a potential market for about 500,000 customers
within 80km sq(expandable) who will be will to pay a monthly charge/
fee of $30 and installation charge of $200.
Other value added services like special bandwidth allocation will be
made available for schools, hospitals, government and non-governmental
institutions, companies and individuals etc who will be charged
accordingly.
My company has the premeses and the manpower to deploy and manage this
facilty should your esteemed company finds my proposal feasible.
My company will be greatful if a turnkey solution to the
aforementioned WISP business could be granted it due attention and
properly negotiated.
Currently there is not a single WISP offering the proposed services .
The national telecommunication offering broadband has been shut down
due to quality of service and exobitant monthly fee of $60
My current ISP the only one working now charges $90 a month which is
expensive.and too slow.
For this reason my company have taken upon it shoulders the search for
a cheaper and reliable (always connected ) services to offer its
potential customers.
