reasonable price range might be please (UKP or USD)?

to oscilloscopes for instance, which can sometimes be had
for practically nothing.
A new one, with comparable specs, costs perhaps $250. My
personal limit would be $100, if I needed one. Of course,
if I need it badly, I'd pay more

one that Tony Williams repaired for you some time ago.
What happened to that unit?
I remember you said it was really good and that was
why you wanted to repair it and keep it.
What is the main differences between your old unit
and the one you were bidding on?
Just interested so that I know what to look out for
myself should I come across a bargain.
There is ham field day coming up at the end of Feb
at a place called Wyong north of Sydney, I always
come away with boatanchor test gear. It is a fettish
of mine. I just can't resist old test gear bargains.
