I don’t specifically remember my father\' s radio installation in our old house but he wired the whole house so you could pipe in tunes or news any part of the house.
I do remember the toaster that worked for like 30 years, up on the middle shelf of that little pantry though. Still worked in the new house and last year til I am not sure what happened
I think we had the only toaster in America that didn’t have a “push down” button.
And I also remember doing “bop bop bop bop BREAD GO DOWN!!!” constantly.

I went down that rabbit hole, getting to eBay where there is an active
market in them. $100 & up, a NOS (!!) one selling for $750.
