Hi,
could someone please advise me where i can find instructions and schematics
for making an infared remote signal sender?

this is what i need to do:

use a TV remote control in ROOM A to change channels on a TV tuner in ROOM
B. I know this is easily achieved by having a IR detector in room A that
sends the signal via RF to room B, an RF receiver in room B then picks up
the signal and coverts it back into IR where it has an IR LED pointing to
the remote control receiver. i dont need to send the RF signal far, just
round the house.

thanks for listening, hope you can help!

Jaycar and Dick Smith both have these. I think I've even seen them in Bond
and Bond.

Thanks, was looking to build one myself, so if anyone knows where i can find
a circuit diagram, list of components etc then that would be lovely

Try:

I built the circuit above and work well for me!

Thanks Thomas,
since i already have a wire cable running between the rooms, its probably
more cost effective to build the wired solution.

AEM did one a few years back that put the signals onto a coax cable along
with the video.
