Inductor replacements

Hello,
I'm trying to find inductor replacements for a vintage power supply. Would
be grateful if you could point me to a supplier for replacements. These
are the main power inductors in a H740 PSU in a PDP-8/M.

- Type: potted, square rectangular box
- Terminals: screw-on, 1.75" apart
- Dimensions: L2.5" x W1.25" x H1.8"
- Requirements:
1. 100uH/20A or better
markings on inductor:
1610717 BOURNS (1N 0023)
4265-0002

2. 200uH/10A or better
markings on inductor:
1611031 BOURNS (1N 0026)
4265-0003

What is wrong with the inductors in the power supply you have?

I would guess that he's trying to bring back a cannibalized PS, with
some parts missing.

He can make some similar inductors out of a 30 mm, or 1-1/4 inch toroid
from an old AT power supply, wound with some heavy 12 gauge wire.

The original inductors are "whining" very loudly. My guess is that the
core has been shaken loose internally due to its age..
