Hi All

Trying to identify this fuse, couldn't find any reference but it should
be small rating since it comes from a small stepper motor driver.

What are you asking for? Value? Type? As in self healing, etc.

Does not likely follow cap or resistor markings. Looks like it
follows a similar standard (methodology)(marking paradigm)though.

It's a fuse like the one that has blown and I want to find a
replacement. :)

Rheilly-

If you find a label somewhere that tells how much current is needed, it
will likely be greater than the small amount needed for the stepper
motor. You could really smoke it!

You need to find some service information for the equipment containing
that stepper motor/driver. You want to fix whatever blew the fuse, if
you don't already know.

Brown paint, single letter, mouse-bite endcaps: looks like Littelfuse offering.
I'm t hinking it is a 1206 size, not the tiny 0603?

The Littelfuse 466 series pix look similar, but not an 'A' marking noted anywhere.

Bourns SF-1206 likewise not marked 'A;

Thanks Fred,
It's from an asian clone board for a CNC mill, the people who sell that
stuff would have no idea about component details. Exactly why it blew I
don't know but the motor it supplied works 100% with a new board.
The main reason for the enquiry ( apart from causing mirth ) was that I
can find no info on the labelling "A". So I'll check on the motor specs
and fit an appropriate size.

Thanks, yup it's a bit of a mystery marking. I was hoping someone in the
NG might know. I'll sort something out.
