Identifiy component...: F IRF644A

Which component is this....my data monitor shut down, and a
electrolytic-capacitor and the transistor? mentioned above blew.....Can
anybody tell me what kind of transistor this is, and whether there are an
ekvivalent to it?

It's a MOSFET. A quick Google search for "IRF644" will give you plenty of
hits.
