Hi all,

does anybody know, where possibly a free IP core of an IDE _device_ exists?

Reason: connecting a FPGA to a [PC] the standard USB-to-IDE or direct IDE
interface way.

Thanks a lot

A full IDE ?

That seems difficult, the IDE is(was) the old interface for HDD and
CDROM (burner), DVDROM (burner).

You haven't any IP Core for that, except if you see them like a big ram ;-).

You can simulate your IDE component as you simulate your RAM.

If you want check that your IDE interface respect the IDE communication
protocol, you must think to do by an other way.
