When I place posting on this newsgroup, I see replies to it but I do not see
my posting. Replies
indicate that the posting was posted. How come other people could see it,
and I could not?

This would be a question to group administrator I guess. How to write to
him/her directly?

Sincerely,

Andrey

This is an unmoderated group. There is no administrator.

The good news is that nothing is compulsory.
The bad news is that everything is prohibited.

He could always try un-killfiling himself.

What's unkillfilling? How can I do it?

And, if I am a "Genome', only inadventedly so.

It is the same - I posted this message and again I see replies but not the
message itself.

Thank you very much people for trying to help.

Andrey

Hi Andrey,

Look in your junk mail controls. Anything in there that might
unintentionally block your own messages?

I am a Comcast customer and have the same problem. The news readers
apparently don't all work the same. It's annoying but I have learned to
live with it.

I am on SBC DSL. They used to ship Netscape with that and while the
browser is ok I was not at all enthused by its newsgroup handling. After
switching to Mozilla most of the problems such as blank posts went away.
Line breaks are still messy and inconsistent but I have yet to see a
newsgroup handler that does that right.

Make sure you haven't inadvertantly added yourself to the blocked senders list.
I use Mozilla, so I'm not sure how you check in IE
