I have a device that uses 6 AA Batteries at one time. One of the dual coil
battery contacts is missing. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement?
I've tried Radio Shack and a hardware store and they didn't have one. Thank
you.

Not sure what you mean. If you are talking about the contacts with coil
springs that the batteries push against then you have some choices.
Find some junk equipment that uses them and adapt them to your needs.
Buy battery holders from the "shack" and pull out the contacts.
Welcome to the world of improvising.

do what i do in a jam.
go to you local hardware store.
get a small piece of brass thin
strip., a dremo tool, a punch set,
tin snips, a small package of springs.(compression type)
--
cut and form the holder for the springs, punch in a small
tongue in the brass sheet that will hold the springs.
cut 2 springs to the proper length and insert into the
holders that you punched out.
then with some home made electro plating using water
salt and about 12 volts of so, place some nickel material
on the - side and the springs with its holder on the + side
using clips into the water.
i could be wrong on the Salt, its been a while but i think
that is the correct home solution to put in.
you can guy the proper solution for plating.

just a thought, that's all! :))
