I don't know how to solve this problem

at first, I'm sorry for my bad english..

I use Solaris 8 and cadence ic443 version.

I have problem in these day,

Suddenly the screen was dark and the system jumped out to login
page..when I'm working

so I upgraded cadence ic443 to ic514 version

but this problem is not gone..

how can I do?

I ream some article.. there are some solution for this.

[patch your system..] <- like this.

but I don't know what patch is right..

help me..
 
A patch originally is a medical word is that thing which you
stick on a wound.

I your context it means a operating system patch,
a piece of software which contains bug fixes for you
operating system.

If you're using a recent version like IC5141, we have patch data files which
advise which matches are necessary.

There's a tool "checkSysConf" which can be run to tell you which patches your
machine needs - start by using the checkSysConf in <instdir>/tools/bin - getting
the latest one from sourcelink would be good if you can - it's in the
Installation area of sourcelink (I'm on a plane, so can't check).

If you run checkSysConf -r it will tell you which release names to use. If
memory serves, it would be:

checkSysConf IC5.1
