I scoped the stereo decoder/processor L/R channel output-ok
Traced to 2 TDA7052 output amps which were blown. Because of
the failure, I placed 2 8dip sockets, so now I can swap them
out easily if they fail again. It's up and running
again-saved $100 in shop fees, and had a learning experience
and fun to boot.

Chassis model 25X607-00AA 1996 27" CRT TV
Both audio channels are dead. I was running taps off the
onboard speakers into an external amp for 2 8ohm satellite
speakers. Worked good; the TV audio was never over 1/4
volume. Lasted several months. Now, no output from the
board. I checked the satellite speaker wiring- no shorts and
normal ohms. Advice on where to start? I'm just sort-of
handy with electronics, and could probably fix it if it's a
blown component on the board. I have no schematic.
