I˛C DIP RTC

Dose anyone know of an I˛C real time clock available in a through hole
(DIP) package, all I can find are SO8's . At 1.27mm pitch this is not
too much of a hassle to solder, but I would prefer a DIP package if
available.

Thanks,

Tom.

I rang Philips about a PCF8574(A)P there price was $60
R.S. components price was $12

There has to be something wrong with Philips pricing.

Philips have a 'minimum purchase' system operating, so you could
probably get 6 for $60.

I have a couple of unused ones at home (there are two types, one has
memory as well as a clock, I've got the latter, I think). I'm in
Melbourne Aus.

Arrow quoted me about $2ea for the PCF8563P with a minimum order
quantity of 50.

This is fine as it's going to be a production item and any rtc will
do.
