Hspice switch

Hi

I'm trying to simulate a HBM model for ESD purposes using Hspice but I
can't define a switch that will trigger almost instantaneously to
discharge the "charged" capacitor in that model.

As I want to simulate only an ESD protection structure with diodes
(simulatable under Hspice during an ESD event), I want also to observe
the structure behavior under a waveform such as the one provided by
the HBM model.

I appreciate any possible help in this field.

Hi
Use the pulse source at the otherside of the capacitor . It will behave as
you have a charge cap then connect with a switch.
